Sales Associate - M&A Advisory & Capital Markets
LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, and they are seeking a Sales Associate within their Investment Banking Advisory & Capital Markets business. This role focuses on supporting the development of new business opportunities and contributing to client deals across various financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of new business opportunities across investment banks, private equity firms, and advisory clients
- Build and qualify pipeline through prospecting and outreach activities
- Partner with sales colleagues on active deals, contributing to client engagement, positioning, and execution
- Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations and client presentations
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts in collaboration with Account Managers
- Develop a strong understanding of client workflows, market trends, and LSEG’s product suite
- Contribute to territory planning and sales strategy execution
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, finance, consulting, or a client-facing role
- Strong curiosity about financial markets and capital markets workflows
- Proven track record to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several priorities
- Team-oriented perspective with a willingness to collaborate and learn from others
- Exposure to financial data platforms, fintech, or SaaS environments
- Familiarity with investment banking, private equity, or capital raising processes
