Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mirion Technologies is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer for their Software Platform team. The role involves leading the technical design and architecture of software products, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for products within the Software Platform team
• Design, implement, and maintain end to end software systems, spanning the entire product vertical: front-end engineering, back-end engineering, cloud engineering, testing / test automation, and system administration
• Design, implement, and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting systems, to ensure reliability, availability of software products
• Own code review process and enforce engineering standards across the team
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Help design and drive the team’s operational processes: including agile methodologies, support functions, and incident response processes

Skills

• 5+ years experience in software engineering, with professional experience in frontend, backend, and cloud engineering
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services
• Strong Terraform skills, including module development and state management
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
• Strong communication skills: written, public speaking, and interpersonal
• Familiarity with security and compliance in cloud environments
• A product-driven mindset, putting customer experience and value first
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling
• Experience building IoT applications
• Experience building applications deployed to air-gapped or offline environments
