Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi is partnering with a leading technology client to seek an experienced Platform Engineer for a fully remote position. The role involves building and supporting Kubernetes platforms and designing Terraform modules while implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and support Kubernetes platforms across AWS and Azure environments
• Design and maintain Terraform modules, infrastructure-as-code, and Helm charts
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Manage cloud security, access controls, secrets management, and authentication frameworks
• Design monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for Kubernetes workloads
• Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable platform services

Skills

• Expert-level experience with Terraform
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise
• Hands-on AWS experience
• Experience building and maintaining Helm charts/templates
• CI/CD automation experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Go, and/or Python
• Knowledge of RBAC, SSO, Teleport, and secrets management solutions
• Experience designing Kubernetes monitoring and alerting frameworks
