Onward Search is a national staffing company focused on delivering specialized talent, and they are seeking a proactive Recruiter to support their new Behavioral Health Staffing Division. The role involves sourcing, recruiting, and placing licensed behavioral health professionals in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing Candidates: Utilize job boards, referrals, and online platforms to identify and attract qualified behavioral health professionals for open roles
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of behavioral health candidates through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building
• Qualifying Candidates: Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for specific roles
• Negotiating Compensation: Discuss and negotiate pay rates and compensation packages with candidates, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and client needs
• Candidate Management: Provide ongoing support to candidates after placement, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction in their roles
• Internet Savvy: Stay up-to-date with online recruiting tools and strategies to effectively source and engage potential candidates

Skills

• Previous experience in staffing, with behavioral health recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and placement
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on phone outreach and relationship management
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, KPI‑driven environment
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple candidates and placements simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
