Fidelity Investments is seeking a strategic and influential Regional Philanthropic Consultant to lead charitable planning efforts across the Pacific Northwest. This role involves engaging with financial advisors and corporate professionals to integrate charitable giving into wealth management strategies, ultimately increasing grantmaking.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a visible and credible leader in the territory, representing Fidelity Charitable’s mission and capabilities
• Influencing and operationalizing charitable planning strategies across a diverse network of intermediaries
• Delivering sophisticated consultation and analysis on tax-advantaged giving strategies, complex asset donations, and philanthropic planning
• Driving adoption of the Charitable Investment Advisor Program, generating referrals, and supporting client retention
• Collaborating with internal partners and specialist teams to enhance divisional processes and identifying new opportunities for growth
• Making strategic decisions based on long-term trends and business implications
• Leading cross-functional initiatives and managing resources across multiple work/project groups

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or designation (CAP®, CFP®) preferred
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in field sales and strategic planning
• Deep expertise in tax, legal, and investment principles related to charitable planning
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with functional and process implications
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to influential audiences
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable business impact
• High aptitude for learning, adaptability, and strategic decision-making
• Advanced degree or designation (CAP®, CFP®)
