The EA-NGP VAN Product Writer I is responsible for creating and maintaining clear end-user content for NGP VAN products, collaborating with various teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with client use cases.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish basic help center content and release notes
• Work from internal specifications, SME interviews, and product testing to translate features into written guidance
• Contribute to templates and voice consistency in documentation
• Perform light HTML or CMS formatting as needed
• Capture and annotate screenshots
• Participate in documentation review cycles and incorporate feedback

Skills

• 1+ years of experience in writing, editing, or documentation support
• Experience with help centers, customer support content, or SaaS product writing
• Ability to write clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong command of grammar, editing, and usage
• Comfort with working in multiple systems (Jira, Confluence, WordPress, LLM-style applications, etc.)
• Capacity to manage deadlines and accept feedback constructively
• Exposure to union clients or political campaign environments highly preferred
• Familiarity with digital organizing tools or CRMs is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field (preferred)
