[Remote] Cloud Telemetry Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Cloud Telemetry Platform Engineer for a contract role. The primary focus of this position is on developing OpenTelemetry solutions, requiring strong experience with Go and hands-on programming against the Kubernetes API.
Skills
- Strong experience with Go (Golang)
- Hands-on programming against the Kubernetes API
- Experience with at least ONE of the following: Kubernetes Controllers
- Experience with at least ONE of the following: Kubernetes Operators
- Experience with at least ONE of the following: Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) platform development
- 5+ years Kubernetes ecosystem & telemetry infrastructure
- OpenTelemetry + Prometheus
- Envoy, service mesh, telemetry proxies
- Store-and-forward architectures
- Go (mandatory)
- C++ / Java / Python (secondary)
