Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. International Health Alliance (IHA) offers unique internships designed for academic enhancement and humanitarian service in healthcare. The Clinical & Global Health Research Internship allows participants to work with real-world data collected through healthcare initiatives in underserved communities, focusing on research design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Learn research fundamentals, develop your research question, and design your data collection tools (surveys/questionnaires)
• Work with real-world data collected by IHA’s on-the-ground medical teams in the Dominican Republic
• Analyze results, interpret findings, and contribute to research outputs such as abstracts and presentations

Skills

• No previous medical or research experience is necessary. We provide all necessary training and you will be under the supervision of licensed doctors
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Strong interest in healthcare, research, or public health
• Interns are responsible for the costs of medical and program supplies
• Must be 16 years or older
