The role involves making outbound calls, qualifying sales opportunities, and scheduling appointments for sales representatives.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective business customers
• Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
• Speak with decision-makers and uncover their transportation and freight needs
• Schedule qualified appointments for our sales representatives
• Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activities in our CRM
• Follow structured calling, voicemail, email, and follow-up sequences
• Work closely with assigned sales representatives
• Meet daily and weekly activity, conversation, and appointment targets
• Participate in call reviews, coaching, role-playing, and sales training

Skills

• At least 1 year of outbound sales or business development experience
• Strong spoken and written English
• Confidence speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
• Experience making cold calls
• The ability to ask good questions and listen carefully
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• The ability to handle rejection without losing consistency
• A reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace
• Willingness to work hours that align with the United States business day
• Experience using a CRM, dialer, or sales engagement platform
• Experience in logistics, freight, transportation, or B2B services is helpful but not required
