The ideal candidate will have experience in simple practice and previous experience in a billing capacity for a private practice and play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient office management. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various clerical tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of our office environment. Duties Manage incoming calls and operate phone systems to facilitate communication within the office. Organize and maintain files, ensuring easy access to important documents. Responsible for insurance billing and credit card collection for copays. Utilize Simple Practice for client tracking and insurance billing. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting clients as needed. Perform clerical duties such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars. Assist in personal assistant tasks for management, including travel arrangements and meeting coordination. Support medical receptionist duties when necessary, including patient check-ins and appointment scheduling. Skills Proficiency in phone systems and strong verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for file management. Familiarity with Simple Practice or similar EMR software is preferred. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience as a personal assistant is a plus. Previous experience as a medical receptionist is beneficial but not required. Strong clerical skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
