Job Summary

As a Senior Customer Service Associate on our USB, PRT Participant Relations Team, you will act as an advocate for our customers, processing high-volume transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing incoming research requests and responding to annuitants in writing or by phone according to our procedures
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing reports based on data obtained from team performance
  • Assisting in daily workflow activities to ensure timely completion of cases
  • Building relationships with other business partners
  • Assisting our Contact Center by handling inbound phone calls from customers, as needed
  • May lead and participate in special projects as needed
  • Act as an SME for various process flows
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

* Process high-volume transactions with accuracy and timeliness

  • Respond to customer inquiries in writing or by phone according to our procedures
  • Analyze and prepare reports based on data obtained from team performance
  • Assist in daily workflow activities to ensure timely completion of cases
  • Build relationships with other business partners
  • Handle inbound phone calls from customers, as needed
  • Participate in special projects and act as an SME for various process flows
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or minimum of 1-2 years of equivalent work experience

  • Experience within a transaction processing environment, where quality and productivity standards need to be met, is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Successful attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Strong decision-making/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to disseminate and analyze data
  • Can-do attitude
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as a standout colleague
  • Computer proficient – accurate keying skills and Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with colleagues and customers

Work Environment and Culture

* This is a remote opportunity, and you will be working from home

  • You will be expected to have a reliable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download speeds
  • You will be required to have a cell phone or landline with unlimited data and minutes
