You'll design and solve complex, real-world chemistry problems that push AI to think more rigorously and accurately. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your deep scientific knowledge directly influences the next generation of AI systems.

What You'll Do

• Design, solve, and critically review advanced chemistry problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to create rigorous, layered problem statements
• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific rigor and precision

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Deeply knowledgeable in at least one of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
• Experienced with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
• An exceptional written communicator who can explain complex concepts with clarity
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and committed to scientific accuracy
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
• Background in research publishing, peer review, or academic instruction
• Familiarity with cheminformatics tools or molecular modeling software
• Experience translating advanced technical concepts for non-specialist audiences
