Job Summary United Airlines is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration: Process payroll on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring all employee information, deductions, and taxes are correctly applied.

Benefits

Coordination: Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

  • *

Employee Support: Serve as the main point of contact for employees seeking information and resolving inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

  • *

Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and benefits regulations. Stay up to date with any changes in payroll and benefits legislation.

  • *

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain accurate payroll and benefits reports, assisting with audits and ensuring timely and accurate filings.

  • *

Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations of payroll and benefits processes.

  • *

System Maintenance: Maintain the payroll and benefits system, ensuring employee records are up to date and all data is accurately reflected.

  • *

Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, benefits issues, and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • *

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

  • *

Proven experience working in payroll and benefits administration, ideally within a corporate environment.

  • *

Strong understanding of payroll software and HRIS systems (experience with ADP, Workday, or similar systems is a plus).

  • *

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • *

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll and benefits management.

  • *

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex payroll and benefits information to employees.

  • *

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, ideally in a remote work environment.

Experience working with diverse employee populations and familiarity with payroll laws and benefits regulations for multi-state organizations.

Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Working Hours

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, allowing employees to work remotely from home. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM (local time), with occasional flexibility to meet business needs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
