Job Description

• Data Engineers are responsible for building high-quality backend data services, pipelines, and platforms. Our engineering teams in the Global Data Assets organization cover a broad range of domains relevant to agriculture, constructing reusable data APIs and analytics solutions used to power our internal and external experiences.
• The Senior Staff Data Engineer will contribute to solution design and build, while helping to define and drive best practices reputed company the team.

• At least 7 years experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years experience with Go
• Proven experience (2 years) building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using a RESTful approach
• Experience with reputed company processing using Apache Kafka
• A level of comfort with Unit Testing and Test Driven Development methodologies
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining containerized application deployments with a platform like reputed company

• Experience data modeling for large scale databases, either relational or NoSQL Skills
• Experience with protocol buffers and gRPC
