Telehealth Medical Assistant- Bilingual- Tampa

MaxHealth is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to handle tele-visits. Candidates must have strong computer skills, be able to trouble shoot & help patients join the visit electronically. Candidates must be bilingual English/Spanish and located in the state of Florida to be considered for this position. Experience doing televisits is required to be considered for this position. Healow experience preferred. Starting Salary- $20.00 an hour. Normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT 2+ years of experience as an Medical Assistant Strong Customer Service skills Experience with Tele-vists, preferably using Healow Computer proficient (experience using EMR/EHR) A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VIRTUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. As a true people person, you thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare them to see the physician virtually by obtaining their histories, vital signs, and perform a medication reconciliation. As needed, you perform some administrative tasks such as handling inbound patient calls to assist with scheduling appointments and check out patients virtually after the visit.
