Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and online help content.
• Collaborate with product development teams, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging language for various audiences.
• Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, terminology, and branding standards.
• Conduct thorough content reviews for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Manage documentation projects from inception to delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Incorporate feedback from internal teams and customers to continuously improve documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with product updates, industry trends, and new documentation tools/technologies.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of documentation processes and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software development or IT environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Git, Markdown, DITA, Oxygen XML).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and product features.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating diagrams and illustrations (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator).
• Experience with video tutorials or screencasts creation.
• Knowledge of developer documentation best practices for APIs and SDKs.
