Team Lead - Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead – Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Canada. This is a full-time, permanent remote opportunity for an individual passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, and ArgoCD. Automate application deployment workflows across Development and QA environments. Deploy, support, and manage cloud-based applications and services while ensuring scalability, availability, reliability, and high performance. Create and maintain Dockerfiles to support consistent and repeatable container builds across environments. Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks in Linux environments. Design, provision, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies, operational efficiency, and cloud infrastructure. Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have) Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar technologies. Strong command-line and scripting expertise with Linux OS and Shell scripting (4/5 proficiency or higher preferred). Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning. Strong experience working with AWS Cloud Services. Expertise in Containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in a technical leadership or team lead role is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native environments and DevOps best practices. Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
