We're seeking passionate individuals who are ready to make an impact. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will be exposed to different areas of McGraw Hill’s integrated Global Supply Chain organization. This includes areas such as forecasting and inventory planning, global sourcing and contract management, logistics management, product distribution and labor planning, project management, business process design and improvement, quality management, spend analysis, and supply chain analytics. Why This Role Is Exciting: Step into the world of McGraw Hill’s integrated Global Supply Chain as an intern, where you'll explore diverse areas like forecasting, logistics, and analytics while leading a meaningful project from concept to execution. Gain hands-on experience, sharpen your skills, and showcase your impact to leadership by summer’s end! This is a 10-week summer internship from June 8th – August 21st and is a remote internship. Candidates need to currently be pursuing a degree within the United States. What You’ll Do: Support supply chain operations initiatives during peak season by applying data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience Participate in leadership meetings and project reviews, gaining exposure to high-level decision-making processes and contribute ideas for improving supply chain practices Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, identify bottlenecks, and recommend actionable improvements to daily operations Present findings and recommendations to leadership, demonstrating strong communication and storytelling skills with data Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting processes and suggesting enhancements based on data analysis Take ownership of assigned projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication effectively What We’re Looking For: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program preferably in or with a concentration in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations Data Tools Proficiency: Some knowledge of business intelligence, data warehousing, data mining, modeling, and data analysis work using SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Excel etc. Leadership Potential: Demonstrated initiative and ownership in academic or extracurricular projects; ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Communication Skills: Clear and effective written and verbal communication, especially when presenting data-driven findings to stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to group success. Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities during peak season operations. What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in supply chain at a global EdTech company.
