Strategic Sports Network & Business Development Consultant – Sports Partnerships Remote – United States Company PAC Sports PAC Sports is seeking to expand its reach across the youth, amateur, club, recreational, and competitive sports tournament ecosystem in the United States. We are looking for a well-connected sports industry professional who can help build relationships with league operators, tournament directors, event organizers, sports associations, clubs, facilities, and other decision-makers involved in organizing and managing sports tournaments. Role Overview PAC Sports is seeking a Strategic Sports Network & Business Development Consultant to help expand its relationships across the U.S. sports tournament market. This is a flexible, relationship-driven consulting opportunity designed for someone who already has an active network of league operators, tournament directors, club directors, facility managers, sports event organizers, association leaders, or sports business professionals. The ideal candidate personally knows 100+ relevant people in the sports tournament, league, club, or event ecosystem and has access to a broader network through sports associations, tournament circuits, event groups, club communities, facility networks, or long-standing industry relationships. This opportunity is especially well-suited for someone already working in or around sports operations, tournament management, sports business development, league administration, facility management, event production, or athletic programming. Ideal Candidate Profile The strongest candidates will have:

  • 100+ relevant professional connections across sports leagues, tournament directors, clubs, associations, facilities, or event organizers
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers in youth sports, amateur sports, club sports, recreational leagues, tournament circuits, or sports facilities
  • Ability to make warm introductions to league operators, tournament directors, and sports organization leaders
  • Strong credibility within the sports event or league ecosystem
  • Familiarity with how tournaments, leagues, and sports organizations evaluate vendors, partnerships, sponsorships, technology, and operational support
  • Comfort explaining PAC Sports’ value proposition to sports organizations
  • Ability to identify high-potential leagues, tournaments, organizers, and event groups
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship management skills
  • Interest in a flexible, performance-driven consulting or referral model
  • Practical understanding of tournament operations, league growth, event logistics, or sports business development

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify leagues, tournament directors, and sports organizations that may be a strong fit for PAC Sports
  • Make warm introductions to qualified decision-makers and influencers
  • Help explain PAC Sports’ value proposition to league and tournament contacts
  • Support relationship-building across tournament circuits, leagues, clubs, associations, and facilities
  • Help qualify opportunities based on sport, geography, event size, timing, decision-maker access, and partnership potential
  • Support occasional introductory calls when relationship context is helpful
  • Provide insight into sports tournament operations, buying processes, sponsorship opportunities, event calendars, and league decision-making
  • Recommend events, conferences, associations, and sports communities where PAC Sports should build visibility
  • Help PAC Sports create a repeatable business development and referral motion across the sports tournament ecosystem
  • Represent PAC Sports professionally within existing sports industry relationships

What This Role Is Not This is not a cold-calling role. This is not a daily quota-based sales development role. This is not a full-time operations role. This is not a requirement to run tournaments directly. This is not a requirement to leave your current job. The primary value is trusted access, sports industry credibility, existing league and tournament relationships, and the ability to help PAC Sports expand through warm introductions and strategic networking.

Compensation

This is a flexible, performance-driven consulting opportunity with uncapped commission or referral-based earning potential. Compensation may be based on qualified introductions, meetings booked, partnerships created, league or tournament relationships activated, revenue generated from referred opportunities, or other mutually agreed success metrics. Flexible engagement models may include:
