You will enhance our customers' experience in managing their international CDN presence and satisfying compliance requirements. You will work with internal teams to design, shape and create innovative solutions for our customers. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Designing and developing highly scalable software that runs on the Akamai infrastructure Partnering with internal cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions to meet business objectives Implementing new features, enhancing and optimizing existing features Contributing ideas and knowledge to process-improvement sessions to facilitate continuous improvement of our products Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent Have understanding of OOP concepts, proficiency in Python/Java, familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices and SOA Be familiar with frameworks such as Angular, Django, Spring/SpringBoot, Apache Airflow Have exposure to relational and non relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, Cassandra Demonstrate knowledge of Linux OS and command-line tools, Computer Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) Be familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, etc), observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, etc) About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
