ServiceNow Developer - CMDB Role Overview Responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting CMDB-related functionalities, ensuring adherence to best practices and governance models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure: o ITSM Application o CI classes, relationships, attributes o Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies
• Support CMDB data population: o Integrations (REST/SOAP) o Import Sets & Transform Maps
• Assist in configuring: o Discovery and Service Mapping (basic support)
• Implement data validation & reconciliation logic
• Debug issues related to: o Data inconsistency o Relationship errors
• Support reporting and dashboards
• Participate in code reviews and deployment activities Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years ServiceNow development experience
• Strong knowledge of: o Glide scripting (GlideRecord, APIs) o CMDB schema & relationships
• Hands-on experience with: o Transform Maps o Scheduled Jobs
• Understanding of ITIL processes Good to Have
• Exposure to: o Discovery patterns o IntegrationHub
• CSA / CAD certification preferred
