In this role, you will be at the heart of the VOC ecosystem, transforming raw survey data into strategic intelligence that drives product innovation, operational excellence, and superior customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners across the organization—including product owners, data scientists, and technology teams—to ensure that the voice of the customer is not only heard but acted upon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture & Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain robust data models that capture VOC data from multiple sources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with careerzynith data governance standards.
  • Survey Integration & Management: Lead the integration of survey platforms (including the careerzynith‑hosted Qualtrics‑like system) with the central data lake, overseeing data ingestion pipelines, transformation logic, and real‑time analytics capabilities.
  • Advanced Analytics Enablement: Enable big‑data analytics by building pipelines that support batch and streaming workloads using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
  • Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Partner closely with product managers, business analysts, and the careerzynith Agile Delivery Teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver incremental value.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine‑tune data processing jobs to improve throughput, reduce latency, and ensure data quality across the VOC platform.
  • Automation & Tooling: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, PySpark) for data validation, testing, and deployment, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear documentation of data schemas, pipeline architectures, and operational procedures; mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling practices comply with careerzynith’s security policies, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies (Hive, Spark, MapReduce) and strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data pipelines for large‑scale survey or VOC data.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles, relational and NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven ability to work in Agile environments, delivering incremental improvements in two‑week sprints.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex data integration issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus for the Costa Rica location.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with survey platforms similar to Qualtrics, especially in the context of VOC programs.
  • Knowledge of cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Certifications in data engineering, big data, or cloud architecture.
  • Background in financial services or consumer‑focused industries.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
