About The Job: Estrada Consulting, Inc is looking for:

• Role: Senior Data Engineer – Databricks Certified (Ref: 5675).
• Location: Remote but must live within the continental US.
• Duration: 12-months.
• Rate: DOE.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Current Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Spark/PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and production support.
• Experience ingesting data through APIs, streaming, XML/JSON files, ODBC/JDBC, or Databricks Connect.
• Experience migrating pipelines, models, or integrations from SQL Server to Databricks.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Utility, energy, public sector, or regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with SAP, AMI/metering, GIS/geospatial, outage management, distribution management, energy trading, or IVR data.
• Experience leading technical design, performance tuning, code optimization, data quality frameworks, Unity Catalog, governance, and mentoring junior engineers.
