What You Will Get To Do

• Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions across public and private Azure environments.
• Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate, standardise, and manage cloud services.
• Research, evaluate, test, and deploy cloud technologies in line with business and engineering requirements.
• Optimise cloud platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and best practices to protect systems, applications, and data.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable adoption and ownership of cloud technologies and full-stack solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs, configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

What You Will Bring

• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking and routing.
• Expert knowledge of cloud security principles, controls, and best practices across public and private cloud environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including container platform design, deployment, management, and optimisation.
• Proven ability to work closely with software engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies, including GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar technologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working within financial services or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Packer.
