As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated government locations. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor and control access points throughout the location, verifying credentials as required. Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Report and document all security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal procedures. Work cooperatively with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents. Handle sensitive information and situations with discretion and confidentiality. Remain prepared to respond to emergency situations, including medical incidents or security-related threats, in accordance with site protocols. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
