SAP Techno-Functional ABAP Consultant / Junior Product Owner

CTG is seeking to fill an SAP Techno-Functional ABAP Consultant / Junior Product Owner position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Techno-Functional ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP HANA technologies, and modern SAP application architecture. This role requires a blend of deep technical capabilities and functional business process knowledge, with the ability to contribute as a Junior Product Owner supporting highly customized SAP workflows across Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable SAP solutions using RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and ABAP on HANA, while also supporting integrations across third-party platforms and APIs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP applications and custom solutions in complex SAP environments. Develop modern SAP applications utilizing RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and ABAP on HANA technologies. Perform advanced debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and performance optimization activities. Enhance SAP functionality using BADI implementations, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and custom enhancement techniques. Support SAP integrations involving APIs, PI, Informatica, DEEP I/O, RESTful services, and third-party platforms. Build and maintain SAP reports including ALV, classical, and interactive reports. Develop and maintain BAPIs, DDIC objects, and OOABAP components. Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with SD and MM business processes. Contribute to Agile product delivery activities and support prioritization efforts as a Junior Product Owner. Ensure development standards, SAP best practices, scalability, and maintainability are consistently followed. Required Skills: Strong SAP ABAP development expertise in enterprise SAP environments. Experience with RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and ABAP on HANA. Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and SAP performance optimization skills. Experience with enhancement techniques including BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework. Strong integration experience with APIs, PI, Informatica, DEEP I/O, and RESTful services. Knowledge of OOABAP, BAPI development, DDIC objects, and SAP reporting tools. Experience supporting SAP SD and MM business processes. Familiarity with SAP HANA architecture, HANA Studio, Native SQL, ADBC, and HANA Live models. Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.

Nice to Have

Skills: Experience serving in a Junior or Associate Product Owner capacity. Knowledge of Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) business workflows. Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional product delivery teams. SAP certifications related to ABAP, SAP HANA, or SAP Fiori technologies. Experience: 7+ years of SAP ABAP development and SAP techno-functional consulting experience. Proven experience delivering scalable SAP solutions in large enterprise environments. Experience with SAP HANA migration, optimization, and modern SAP application development preferred. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex SAP technical issues independently. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
