About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and reliable Retail Team Lead to join their store in Cincinnati, Ohio . This role is essential in supporting the Store Manager by leading the sales floor team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The Team Lead will act as a role model for the sales associates, providing guidance, training, and motivation. Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store sales goals. Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions. Ensure the sales floor is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing according to company standards. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining stock levels. Train and coach new sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards. Handle customer issues and complaints effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction. Support the implementation of visual merchandising guidelines and promotional activities. Act as a keyholder and support the Store Manager in administrative tasks. Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or retail management experience is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales or customer service role, with previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for store coverage in Cincinnati . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Enthusiasm for retail and a commitment to providing a superior customer experience.
