They are seeking a Senior Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust architectures, ensuring cybersecurity solutions are integrated within Intelligence Community environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting advanced IC architectures involving conditional access, micro-segmentation, visibility analytics
• Guiding senior executives (CISO, CIO, etc.) on cybersecurity maturation
• Managing teams to implement roadmap capabilities and solutions
• Define strict, rule-based policies that grant access on a per-session, need-to-know basis
• Verify device compliance (e.g., up-to-date antivirus, OS patching) prior to connection
• Hide applications, IP addresses, and infrastructure from public view and unauthorized discovery
• Monitor ongoing session context and revoke privileges in near real-time if conditions change

Skills

• HS Diploma or GED
• Leadership experience of Zero Trust strategies for federal and IC organizations
• 7+ years experience in IT operations or Cybersecurity within the IC
• Experience designing Zero Trust solutions in alignment with industry standards like NIST 800–207; Supporting advanced IC architectures involving conditional access, micro-segmentation, visibility analytics
• Experience in innovative security-focused AI, NGFW, and machine learning applications
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP Cloud cybersecurity expertise
• CISSP, CISM, CEH required
• Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum
• Strong problem-solving and design skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
• Ability to work in a self-guided manner; excellent organizational skills
• Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance
