The role involves assisting in hydraulic analysis and water infrastructure planning while providing an opportunity to gain experience in a professional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing hydraulic analysis
• Planning/reviewing new and existing water infrastructure
• Updating and calibrating hydraulic models
• Reviewing new development
• Collecting field pressure and flow data

Skills

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
• A valid Nevada driver's license
• Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
