They are seeking a VP, Legal Counsel to provide critical legal guidance on major projects in advanced digital infrastructure, focusing on drafting and negotiating data center leases and service agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of data center leases and service agreements with enterprise customers
• Advise on deal structuring for complex transactions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial management and project teams
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements supporting large-scale projects
• Develop scalable legal infrastructure
• Manage outside counsel
• Support broader legal operations, including compliance and risk management

Skills

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 5+ years of direct experience negotiating large-scale data center lease agreements with hyperscalers
• Willingness to travel 10–20% within the U.S
• Law firm and in-house experience
• Experience with commercial real estate financings
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management in data center environments
• Strong communication skills and good business judgment
