Job Summary

• Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled and creative Remote Video Editor to join our team. This position allows for flexible work from home, offering the opportunity to edit dynamic video content using Adobe Premiere for a variety of digital projects. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our production team to transform raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with the brands voice and vision. • Key Responsibilities
• Edit video footage into high-quality content for digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive and professional look.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere to apply advanced video editing techniques, including color grading, transitions, sound editing, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and deliver the final product within specified deadlines.
• Review and refine video edits based on feedback from clients and team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and technology to consistently improve video quality.
• Organize and manage video files efficiently, ensuring easy access and preservation of all project-related materials.
• Ensure the final videos meet all technical specifications and are optimized for various platforms (social media, websites, etc.).
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, particularly in Adobe Premiere.
• Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Experience
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a video editor, preferably in a remote or freelance capacity.
• Experience editing content for digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, corporate videos, or marketing campaigns.
• A portfolio of completed video editing projects that demonstrate creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
