They are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help shape the future of their technology and drive innovation at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Help set and drive the technical direction and long-term architecture of the platform, ensuring engineering efforts align with product and company goals
• Act as a senior technical voice within the team, influencing design decisions and broader engineering strategy
• Build and enhance AI-powered capabilities across the platform, including agent-based systems, large language models, and retrieval-augmented workflows
• Solve complex engineering problems in high-stakes domains by designing robust, scalable software solutions
• Define and reinforce engineering standards, architectural principles, and modern development practices, including the use of AI-assisted engineering approaches
• Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear technical plans and priorities
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and identify meaningful opportunities to integrate them into the platform

Skills

• Strong background in backend engineering with experience delivering large-scale, production-grade systems
• Deep understanding of distributed systems design, with strong proficiency in Python and Go
• Experience influencing technical direction and contributing to architecture at a senior or organizational level
• Ability to connect engineering decisions to real business and product impact
• Curiosity and drive to continuously learn, particularly in areas related to AI and modern software engineering practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
