Harmonic Finance Inc is one of the world’s fastest growing media and content production businesses, known for producing targeted media content. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the build out of the Accounting function and manage day-to-day accounting activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup of month end in Netsuite
• Support the monthly close and continuously improve processes for growth
• Support royalties accounting
• Support the year end and audit processes
• Manage all day to day accounting activities (AP, AR, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll)
• Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects

Skills

• Entry level or 1-2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Ideally worked in either Creative Industries (TV & Film, Music, Media, Publishing) OR ecommerce
• Excited to work in a scale-up business
• Commercially astute and able to build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Degree in Accounting or MBA
• Experience in Book or Magazine Publishing
• Some experience with either royalties accounting or inventory accounting
