[Remote] Software Sales Engineer

They are seeking a customer-facing Software Sales Engineer to support the sales process through technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead during customer sales engagements
  • Gather requirements and recommend software solutions that align with business needs
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept deployments
  • Design solution architectures and support RFPs, proposals, and statements of work
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive successful customer outcomes
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle

Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to qualify
  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical software sales
  • Experience with networking software, IT infrastructure, or network management platforms
  • Familiarity with technologies such as IP/MPLS, SNMP, REST APIs, NetConf/YANG, or optical networking
  • Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to support customer presentations and technical evaluations
