They are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Social Media Manager to lead client relationships and drive collaboration in executing high-impact social media strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily social concept development across brand social channels
• Oversee daily social publishing and editorial calendars to ensure seamless program execution across platforms
• Stay ahead of macro content trends and platform updates to inform publishing, community engagement, and tactical execution
• Actively monitor the social landscape to surface insights and deliver forward-thinking recommendations
• Spot and react to cultural trends across sports, fashion, entertainment, and music in real time
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop assets
• Understand and engage diverse audiences by tapping into generational behaviors and cultural nuances
• Track and analyze performance to continuously refine and elevate creative output
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Support additional projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Skills

• 5-7 years of social media management experience
• Experience at a creative agency(s), with a focus on content development and production within always-on social environments
• Background in sports, fashion, gaming, or other culture-forward categories required
• Passionate about community engagement
• Knowledge of and genuine interest in emerging technology
• Detail oriented, with ability to manage scheduling and proofreading social media posts across multiple platforms
• Must possess skill for creative, platform-specific copywriting
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as people skills
• Strong grasp on the social and digital ecosystem and how brands should participate in an authentic way
• Passionate for building communities with an authentic lens
• Preference for experience in social CS or community management for a brand
