[Remote] Snowflake AI Sr. Engineer

The Brixton Group is seeking an experienced Snowflake AI Engineer / Architect to design, build, and optimize AI-powered data platforms using Snowflake's AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and AI agent development, working on enterprise-scale solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms and AI solutions
  • Design and optimize Snowflake architecture, including data modeling, semantic views, and performance tuning
  • Develop, configure, and manage Snowflake AI Agents for intelligent data interaction and automation
  • Design AI agent workflows, prompt strategies, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integration where applicable
  • Establish AI testing, validation, and verification frameworks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and safety of AI outputs
  • Implement AI observability, monitoring, logging, evaluation metrics, and continuous improvement strategies
  • Build scalable integration patterns using AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and cloud-native services
  • Develop secure APIs and services that integrate Snowflake AI capabilities with enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment strategies for AI applications
  • Utilize data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow to manage data pipelines and AI workflows
  • Optimize solution performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Mentor engineering teams on AI engineering best practices, Snowflake architecture, and cloud-native development
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, and VS Code AI extensions to accelerate development while maintaining engineering quality

Skills

  • Strong experience with Snowflake Architecture and enterprise data platform design
  • Expertise in Snowflake Data Modeling and Semantic Views
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying Snowflake AI Agents
  • Experience designing AI agent architectures, tuning, testing, monitoring, and validation
  • Strong understanding of AI testing, verification, evaluation frameworks, and observability
  • Experience integrating AI solutions using: AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda
  • Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with Git, version control, branching strategies, and code reviews
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
  • Node.js development experience
  • Experience with D3.js for data visualization
  • Tailwind CSS for modern UI development
  • Experience using VS Code with AI coding assistants and frontier AI models such as: Claude, Codex, Cursor
  • Rapid prototyping of AI applications and proof-of-concepts
  • Experience with modern visualization frameworks and interactive dashboards
