This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure infrastructure solutions, focusing on automation and disaster recovery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions to support organizational objectives
• Develop and enforce configuration management and disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python to enhance operational efficiency
• Conduct security engineering activities, including application security testing and vulnerability assessments
• Manage Linux-based systems and agentic systems to maintain optimal performance and security compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into infrastructure projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3 years' experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
• 5 years' experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
• Proven expertise in infrastructure security and scalable system design to support enterprise environments
• Strong experience with configuration management and disaster recovery planning to ensure system resilience
• Proficiency in automation and security engineering practices to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation
• Advanced skills in Python programming for developing and maintaining security tools and scripts
• In-depth knowledge of application security and application security testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and agentic systems management
• Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
• Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 1 year's experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and supporting an inclusive culture
