[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Node.js & AWS)

They are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Node.js and AWS to join their Technical Products and Services team, where the successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust software solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly understand and extract data from legacy systems independently
- Overcome data extraction limitations in legacy systems
- Write stable, extensible, and unit-tested code
- Communicate effectively with team members, product managers, and project managers
- Diagnose complex issues and implement resolutions
- Implement new requirements following Agile and architectural principles
- Manage application requirements and collaborate with teams to ensure quality
- Support planning and design for solution architectures in a multi-system environment
- Add value through communication within the client community
- Collaborate on product architecture and design problem-solving
- Operate within continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines
Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience with Node.js in AWS
- Expertise in developing REST APIs and tooling for documentation
- Experience in continuous integration and delivery environments
- Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres) and cloud development using AWS Lambda
- Ability to analyze and extract data from legacy systems independently
- Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., git, docker)
- Agile team experience with excellent communication skills
- Motivated to learn and tackle challenging projects positively
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently as needed
- Preferred previous consulting experience
