The Senior Manager, Business Operations will be responsible for the success and scaling of the Business Operations function, driving strategic initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives from definition through execution, including launching and scaling new products and services
• Develop strategies grounded in a deep understanding of business goals, constraints, and market dynamics, supported by rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of our customers, providers, and partners to build a strong point of view on what matters in each initiative, and use that to inform our strategy and how we prioritize
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, Legal and more, to align on priorities, remove blockers, and move with urgency
• Establish and run the operating rhythm of the division, including annual planning cycles, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing goal tracking
• Drive group-wide prioritization and tradeoff decisions, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities
• Drive adoption of shared dashboards and reports, maintain visibility into initiative KPIs, and proactively surface insights with clear recommendations
• Support leadership team preparation for company and board-level reviews, ensuring the division presents with clarity and confidence
• Serve as a member of the Porch Consumer Services leadership team

Skills

• 6-12 years of experience in strategy or business operations, preferably at a high-growth startup or technology company
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable results, including launching new products or service offerings
• Strong bias to action; comfortable operating with ambiguity, moving with urgency, and staying focused on outcomes over process
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to align stakeholders across diverse, cross-functional teams
• Experience building and running internal operating cadences, including business reviews, planning cycles, and performance reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations
