They are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive B2B sales by building relationships and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise brokerages, taking full ownership of the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Building pipeline from scratch
- Picking up the phone and crafting cold messages
- Running discovery conversations that earn the next step
- Driving B2B sales in a start-up
- Adapting approach and keeping things moving
- Honest assessment of deal statuses
- Distinguishing between progressing and stalled deals
- Thriving in incomplete environments
- Making good decisions with incomplete information
- Taking full ownership of sales numbers
Skills
- Have built pipeline from scratch and knows what it takes
- Are comfortable picking up the phone, crafting a cold message that actually gets a response, running a discovery conversation that earns the next step
- Are a real go-getter who dreams big, goes hard, and knows how to drive B2B sales in a start-up
- Do not need a playbook for every situation - you know how to read a deal, adapt your approach, and keep things moving
- Are honest with yourself about where deals stand and do not paper over stalled pipeline with optimistic stage updates
- Know the difference between a deal that is progressing and one that is stuck - and know what to do about both
- Thrive in environments that are not fully built yet and gray areas do not slow you down
- Make good decisions with incomplete information, ask for help when needed, and take full ownership of your number
- Applicants must be based in the US
- This is a 100% work-from-home role and only an absolute sales-whiz who thrives in a remote setup will be successful
- Applicants must be able to accommodate occasional after-hours work to cross-over with the Australian and New Zealand team
