The role involves designing test plans, executing manual tests, and collaborating with stakeholders to verify fixes and validate new features.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing requirements and specifications
• Designing detailed test plans and test cases
• Executing manual tests
• Documenting test results clearly and accurately
• Identifying, tracking, and helping prioritize defects

Skills

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Manual Testing, with practical experience ensuring software meets defined quality standards
• Proficiency in Test Execution and designing, maintaining, and running Test Cases across multiple scenarios and environments
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, troubleshoot defects, and propose clear, data-informed recommendations
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) and clear defect documentation practices
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or iterative methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a part-time schedule
• Relevant education or training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience testing healthcare, hospital, or clinical systems and understanding of data privacy and security considerations
• Basic knowledge of automation concepts or scripting and willingness to learn test automation tools over time
