[Remote] Project Manager (f/m/d)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aesir Interactive GmbH is a game development company located in Munich, Germany, seeking a Project Manager to play a key role in their production team. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring project health, transparency, and effective communication between various departments while further developing project management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Organization: Create and update project plans and ensure its feasibility through project management ceremonies
  • Resource Management: Budget, Time and Resource awareness in a Product development environment
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop and execute strategies to mitigate impact and / or probability
  • Process Optimization: Implement and improve project management methods and processes
  • Monitoring Project Progress: Track progress and objectives to ensure the project stays on schedule and within healthy boundaries

Skills

  • Several years of experience in project management, ideally in game development or a related industry designing and developing products
  • Self-organized and a hunt and gather type of personality
  • You know what you need to function and what you need to have your project function
  • You have a confident and authentic appearance in how you approach your environment
  • You can explain the whats, hows and whys of what you deem necessary
  • Profound knowledge of agile methods (e.g., Scrum/Kanban), waterfall planning and common project management tools
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Microsoft Excel and other project management software
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong risk management capabilities
  • Leadership qualities with experience in team management and employee development
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both spoken and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to tackle challenges efficiently
  • A degree in project management or a related field is beneficial
  • Passion for games, projects and an understanding of game development processes cross departments
  • Certifications in project management, such as PM², PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications
  • Experience in implementing project management standards and processes within a company
