The role involves monitoring and responding to network security events, implementing security controls, and collaborating with teams to enforce best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive network security management, including firewall and intrusion prevention system configuration and maintenance
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and respond to network security events, identifying and mitigating potential threats in real time
• Implement and maintain robust cloud and endpoint security controls across diverse platforms and environments
• Lead efficient incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and reporting of security incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security best practices and standards aligned to business needs
• Guide and mentor other team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and professional development
• Ensure full compliance with relevant security policies, regulations, and industry standards

Skills

• Proven expertise in network security management, including configuring firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Strong experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network security issues using advanced tools
• Demonstrated ability to implement and oversee cloud and endpoint security solutions in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
• Hands-on incident response experience, including investigation, remediation, and documentation of security events
• Exceptional collaborative abilities, with a track record of mentoring and knowledge sharing within technical teams
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and policy development
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly valued
