[Remote] National Account Manager (3081)

The National Account Manager will drive revenue growth through new and existing accounts while contributing to the company's expansion efforts over the next five years.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute the sales strategy at the national and regional level
  • Own and manage assigned key and strategic accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and deepen customer penetration
  • Develop and execute plans to drive year-over-year revenue growth for strategic accounts
  • Prospect and secure new strategic accounts to drive new business
  • Promote cross-selling of Ironclad products within assigned accounts
  • Evaluate and recommend new product lines when applicable
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to facilitate and execute geographic expansion plans
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Ironclad, including studying strategic markets, evaluating competitors, assessing profitability of potential customers, and creating plans to obtain new business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial, petrochemical, or containment box industry required
  • At least 3 years of field sales experience at the regional or national level required
  • Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Basic computer proficiency in MS Office and Internet applications
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and developing new accounts
  • Ability to manage accounts effectively in an assigned territory
  • Up to 50% overnight travel required within the assigned territory
  • Regularly required to travel and enter customer sites, including exposure to odors, fumes, and dust
  • Some light physical effort may be required
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to travel via airplane and automobile
  • Bachelor's degree
