They are seeking a Market Development and Outreach Specialist for Medicaid, responsible for community outreach, developing marketplace opportunities, and driving membership growth in the Medicaid program.

Responsibilities

• Creates marketplace opportunities to showcase Sentara Family Care's programs and services for Medicaid beneficiaries, advocates, and community leaders
• Initiates and develops community activities that drive membership growth or retention
• Initiates grass-roots stakeholder development in support of SFC goals
• Provides on-site management of events
• Demonstrates proficiency in understanding, analyzing, and articulating complex issues in the Medicaid program or in the community, including emerging health care issues

Skills

• BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree REQUIRED
• CRM Database- Previous Experience, eg. Salesforce REQUIRED
• Customer Service- 3 years REQUIRED
• Public Relations - 3 years REQUIRED
• Outreach and Advocacy- 3 years REQUIRED
