Mackinnon Bruce International is a leading North American automation OEM specializing in custom automation and advanced manufacturing systems. They are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth across the medical device, life sciences, and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors by developing long-term customer relationships and providing advanced automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow strategic customer relationships across assigned accounts
• Identify and qualify new capital equipment opportunities
• Consult customers on manufacturing strategy and automation roadmaps
• Lead opportunities from early concept through RFQ, proposal, negotiation, and purchase order
• Work closely with Applications Engineering and Subject Matter Experts to develop technically compliant, commercially competitive solutions
• Build strong relationships with engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders
• Develop account strategies that increase long-term share of wallet
• Maintain awareness of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity
• Represent customer requirements internally while ensuring successful execution throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

• 5+ years' experience within industrial automation or machine building
• Strong commercial and technical communication skills
• Ability to build relationships across engineering and executive stakeholders
• Comfortable leading complex, consultative capital equipment sales cycles
• Ability to travel throughout North America (approximately 50–75%)
• Must live within reasonable access of a major international airport
• Knowledge of GAMP5
• Knowledge of validation
• Knowledge of ISO 13485
