Julian Charter School, Inc is currently seeking a full time Virtual Teacher/Educational Facilitator for the 2026-2027 school year for their JCS-LIVE online program. The Virtual Teacher will direct and supervise core subject matter for assigned JCS LIVE students in an online, home study environment, which includes communication with students and parents, managing grades, and providing regular tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise core subject matter in his/her field of specialty for assigned JCS LIVE students in an online, home study environment
• Daily and regular communication with students, parents, and administration
• Assigning and reviewing student work
• Verifying student learning
• Managing grades
• Maintaining appropriate documentation
• Participating in school events and meetings
• Providing regular, ongoing tutoring
• Any such activities required as to provide a sound and robust educational program

Skills

• Current California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject)
• Copy of Transcript (Please scan and upload ALL college transcripts)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (We require Three (3) letters of recommendation. These need to be actual letters written on the author's letterhead and signed by the author. Upload as PDF or JPG files only. Text files and e-mails will not be accepted.)
