Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Interim Audit & Financial Reporting Consultant to support audit coordination and financial reporting during a critical reporting period. The role involves coordinating audit requests, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with various accounting projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate audit requests and serve as a liaison with external auditors
• Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Prepare variance analyses, reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Assist with lender, regulatory, and management reporting
• Research and resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams on special projects and process improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience working with external audits and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
• CPA and/or public accounting experience
• Financial Services, Fintech, SaaS, Technology, or other multi-entity environments
