What You'll Do

• Focus 100% of your time on Indirect Tax consulting for middle-market clients across various industries
• Build and nurture enduring relationships with clients to deliver high-quality state and local tax solutions
• Advise multi-state businesses on indirect tax exposure, nexus determinations, and compliance strategy
• Oversee client deliverables, project timelines, and quality control across multiple concurrent engagements
• Identify planning opportunities and support business development initiatives
• Mentor and develop managers, seniors, and associates within the sales & use tax practice

What We're Looking For

• 5-8+ years of progressive SALT experience, particularly with sales & use tax
• CPA, JD, or CMI credential highly preferred, but not required
• Background in a specialty tax practice environment (public accounting OR business consulting firm)
• Deep technical knowledge of multi-state indirect tax rules, taxability matrices, and audit processes
• Strong project management and team leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
