[Remote] Head of Business Development

Remote · Ghana Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Future-Able is partnering with RP3 to expand its leadership team by adding a Head of Business Development. This senior growth leadership role will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for shaping the agency’s growth strategy, building senior relationships, and converting opportunities into lasting client partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive RP3’s growth strategy in partnership with the CEO and leadership team
  • Build senior-level relationships with marketers, decision-makers, referral partners, and prospective clients
  • Create and lead proactive outreach that generates meaningful, qualified opportunities
  • Shape opportunities early, often before they become formal RFPs or briefs
  • Lead pitch strategy, narratives, proposals, and presentations
  • Guide RFP responses and new business materials so they are clear, compelling, and built to win
  • Partner with strategy, creative, media, and account teams to bring compelling ideas to life in the room
  • Close new business and build partnerships designed to grow over time
  • Bring market perspective back into the agency to inform positioning, offerings, and thought leadership
  • Identify emerging client needs and help shape new offerings in response

Skills

  • A proven track record of generating and closing meaningful new business in an agency environment
  • Strong relationships with senior clients, marketers, and decision-makers
  • A strong understanding of creative, media, brand, and integrated marketing
  • Experience shaping pursuits, leading pitches, and guiding teams through proposals and RFPs
  • The ability to operate independently while collaborating closely across teams
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, empathy, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort using CRM, productivity, and AI-enabled tools to move faster and think more expansively
  • A mindset of ownership, accountability, high standards, and strong judgment
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, growth, or senior client leadership
  • Experience within an advertising, marketing, communications, media, or integrated agency environment
  • Experience working with or as part of a senior leadership team
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline, open senior relationships, and close deals
  • Strong understanding of how agency offerings are shaped, sold, and delivered
